Attended Transfer on the 3CX Windows Desktop App

Wondering what attended transfer is? 3CX’s attended transfer feature is a call transfer method that enables users to communicate with the transfer recipient before forwarding a call. This typically involves a brief conversation to pass on additional information to help set call expectations and provide context, allowing the agent to prepare for the call.

Use this feature to enhance your call experiences, productivity and agent workflow. This feature may be particularly useful for improving multi-site call management or hybrid working setups.





When on a call select the attended transfer icon. This will be presented within the call tab and the icon will be named ‘Att. transfer’.

Then enter name, number or email of your colleague you wish to speak with before transferring the call

You can notify your work colleague what the call is regarding, before transferring the call.

To transfer the call on the 3CX desktop app, select ‘Join’
