This could take a lot of time and effort to connect each device manually. This blog will introduce you to a new feature &#8216;<strong>Share Wi-Fi<\/strong>&#8216; which will allow you to connect multiple devices in batches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Share Wi-Fi<\/strong> will allow a device to share its SSID and password credentials automatically to neighbouring devices once <strong>Share Wi-Fi<\/strong> has been enabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a00b10edb958e06bdee1930ac983b5a3\" style=\"color:#0e547c\"><strong>Scenario 1:<\/strong> Configure Special SSID for Wi-Fi Connecting <\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yellowgrid.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"341\" height=\"227\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yellowgrid.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-3-edited.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9076\" style=\"width:468px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.yellowgrid.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-3-edited.png 341w, https:\/\/www.yellowgrid.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-3-edited-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 341px) 100vw, 341px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Step1: Check firmware supports share Wi-Fi function and reset all devices. &#8211; (If the device firmware supports share Wi-Fi function, you could skip step1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Step2: Do DHCP option66 auto provision on the router and get the configuration file through DHCP option66 &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:11px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Turn on the DHCP option 66 auto provision feature on the router<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Configure a configuration file containing new WIFI information and SIP account information, and the name is mac address as the file name, e.g. 0C383E5F1A63.cfg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the auto provision server and put the configuration file to be downloaded in the corresponding directory of the server. E.g. IP address 192.168.1.122<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the DHCP server, open dhcpsrv.ini, and add a DHCP option custom field, e.g. OPTION_66=&#8221;http:\/\/192.168.1.122:663\/0C383E5F1A63.cfg&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Step3: Enable Share Wi-Fi and configure the Wi-Fi information via lcd, which in Menu&#8211;Advanced&#8211;Share Wi-Fi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enable Share Wi-Fi<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Input SSID want to connect<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Security Mode <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Input Password<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click &#8216;OK&#8217; to save the configuration file, it will prompt &#8216;Config OK!&#8217;  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press Red hang up button to return desktop <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Step4: The device could share the Wi-Fi information to Share Wi-Fi client, and the client could connect to the Wi-Fi automatically<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Please note, the client needs to be within the coverage range of Router and if multiple devices enable Share Wi-Fi, the client will connect to Wi-Fi using the information obtained first.
