To make SBC setup even easier for you, we have crafted together a simple step by step guide for you to follow. It is important to consider that you will need to check and adjust user rights for the person setting up the router phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong><em>Top tip &#8211; if you don&#8217;t see the admin toggle in your 3CX Web Client<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>then you don&#8217;t have<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>the relevant user rights<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1 &#8211; User rights on the 3CX Web Client<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the 3CX Web Client select <strong>Admin<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Users<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>Role<\/strong>, the user setting up the SBC must be set as System Admin, System Owner, or if the user is based within the same department they can also be set as Department Admin, Manager or Owner. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<br>\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2 &#8211; Setting the SBC in the 3CX Web Client<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the 3CX Web Client, select <strong>Admin<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>users<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>IP Phone<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Configure a Phone<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When promoted choose the phone model from the list<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter <strong>MAC addresses<\/strong> and select <strong>Next<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose <strong>Connect directly<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once your happy all the details are correct, Select <strong>Add phone<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<br>\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3 &#8211; Rebooting your phone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to the phones web interface<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>See the configuration guide for this phone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the provisioning link<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save and reboot phone &#8211; In this case, we must restart the Fanvil X4U V2 by unplugging and plugging in the phone.
