Fanvil door intercoms offer a secure and convenient way to manage access to buildings, and one of their most useful features is support for RFID fobs and cards<\/strong>. These allow authorised users to unlock doors quickly without needing keys or PIN codes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this guide, we\u2019ll walk you through how to add RFID fobs to your Fanvil door intercom step by step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Method 1 \u2013 i6 series<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to Security Settings> Card Reader working mode Add card.<\/p>\n\n\n

You can then present a Fob. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then if you go to Security Settings>User you can assign the user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Method 2 \u2013 Older units<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some older devices don\u2019t have the screen so need to find the code on the web interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Log into the web interface of your door intercom and go to EGS Logs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scan one of your new fobs and you will get an error as it has not been registered,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will see the access ID for the fob you just scanned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
