3CX Enterprise+ Edition Discontinued: What It Means for Transcription Services
3CX has confirmed that it has stopped selling the Enterprise+ edition of the platform. Alongside this change, 3CX is also no longer providing its own built‑in transcription services.
Instead, customers who require call or voicemail transcription are advised to integrate third‑party AI transcription providers, with OpenAI and Google Speech now being the supported options.

What Has Changed?
Previously, transcription features were bundled within the Enterprise+ edition of 3CX. With this edition now discontinued:
•Enterprise+ licences are no longer available for purchase
•3CX no longer offers its own transcription service
•Transcription must now be configured using supported external AI providers
This approach provides greater flexibility but does move transcription costs and configuration outside of 3CX itself.
Recommended Transcription Options
3CX currently supports two third‑party transcription providers:
✅ OpenAI
OpenAI can be used for call and voicemail transcription within 3CX.

Important Pricing Information
It’s important to note that transcription pricing is no longer controlled by 3CX.
•Costs are usage‑based

•Charges are billed directly by OpenAI or Google
•3CX partners and resellers cannot provide fixed pricing for transcription
